An Academy Award-nominated filmmaker, Kenan has directed MONSTER HOUSE, CITY OF EMBER, POLTERGEIST, A BOY CALLED CHRISTMAS, and GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE for Columbia Pictures, which he co-wrote with Jason Reitman and executive produced. For MONSTER HOUSE, Gil was nominated for an Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature. Kenan co-wrote and executive produced the hit film GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE with Jason Reitman, with whom he has a first look producing deal at Sony Pictures. They are currently in post-production on SNL 1975, and film about the first night of Saturday Night Live which they co-wrote and Jason is directing. Gil has directed music videos for No Age, Bleached, and Eleanor Friedberger.
